Emergency Management Director Responsible for oversight of the 911 Communication Center and serves as the primary contact between County government and all responder agencies. Serves as the primary contact between the County and state/federal agencies. Responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating emergency response plans. Duties include grant writing and budget maintenance. Must be able to work efficiently and cooperatively with volunteer responders. Will also coordinate, participate, and evaluate emergency response training. Must be able to coordinate effective response strategies when called to assist first responder agencies. Role requires working manager with administrative, communicative, and technical skills (progressively in that order).
