JOB OPENING: North Carolina Division of Emergency Management
Emergency Management Planner I (“Hazard Mitigation Specialist”) (multiple temporary positions)(*) Employees will be primarily supporting Continuity of Operations for project implementation activities in the Hazard Mitigation Branch. The HM Specialists will help track project start-up and early implementation activity projects that encompass the mitigation of nearly awarded 200 properties and an additional 800 properties currently in the development phase. The HM Specialists will track project status, serve as customer service point of contact, review reimbursement requests and make recommendations regarding payment, draft grant agreements and other documents, and travel to the field to monitor construction and other grant-funded activities.
