NCEMA Spring 2020 Conference
Dear Colleagues and Friends:
The North Carolina Emergency Management Association Spring Conference is just around the corner in beautiful Cherokee, North Carolina. Our Site Committee is working hard to finalize site preparations at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort.
Please make plans to attend Spring Conference which is being held the week of March 22nd through March 25th at the Harrah’s Cherokee Resort Conference Center. In addition to the conference, training classes are being scheduled by North Carolina Emergency Management.
The conference and classes offer the opportunity to network and build relationships with our Emergency Management professionals and those we rely on in times of need. In addition, the conference aims to provide an atmosphere for you and me to learn about the latest issues facing our profession.
The conference Program Committee is working diligently to have topic experts from North Carolina and other parts of the country as speakers. What better way to learn than to hear from those who have experienced issues in their communities and are willing to share their knowledge and expertise to make us even stronger as the prepare, respond, mitigate, and recover from similar issues.
Also, take the opportunity to have fun away from the conference and visit nearby communities and the breathtaking and beautiful mountains of western North Carolina.
I look forward to seeing all of you at the Spring NCEMA Conference. As you register and make plans to attend the conference, I invite you to share this conference opportunity with other (agencies, personnel, etc.) you work with and invite them to the conference as well. Let’s make this conference one of the best yet.
